Working Together to Improve the Lives of Others

Working together is key when improving communities and making a difference in the lives of children and adults. TaxSlayer recognizes the importance of this and understands how corporations can impact outcomes. According to the National Philanthropic Trust, there were 1,521,052 charitable organizations in America in 2015. In that same year, corporate giving increased to $18.46 billion.

Each year, TaxSlayer partners with several non-profit organizations to help them sustain their efforts to help others. This year’s collaboration is with six national non-profits that are providing a hand up for service members, children and the elderly.  The list includes: American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Meals on Wheels America, Nation Wide Children’s Hospital, Soldiers’ Angels and Wounded Warrior Project. You can learn more about each participating partner and how we are working together by clicking on the links below.

American Foundation for Suicide Prevention:  The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention provides resources for those affected by suicide, and offer them opportunities to help others in the field of suicide prevention.

Meals on Wheels America:  Meals on Wheels America is the difference between many remaining in their homes and relocating to a nursing facility. The nutritious meal, friendly visit and safety check help them cope with three of the biggest threats of aging: hunger, isolation and loss of independence.

Nationwide Children’s Hospital:  When you support Nationwide Children’s, you help kids everywhere and support life-saving research and care in Neonatology, Hematology/Oncology and BMT, Neurosciences, and all of their nationally ranked clinical programs. Every discovery at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, helps children everywhere.

Soldiers’ Angels:  Soldiers’ Angels is among the nation’s top charities, providing aid and comfort to active duty troops, wounded service members, veterans, and their families. Your donations help support all the Soldiers’ Angels programs.

Wounded Warrior Project: When a warrior faces challenges, the family experiences those challenges along with their warrior. Wounded Warrior Project supports family members who suddenly find they are serving as full-time supporters or caregivers.

We are proud to be working collectively to put a smile on the face of a person in need.
